Job Brief:

• We are looking for a full time experienced Truck Driver to serve our logistics department in a safe and timely manner. 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:00 pm with Saturday and overtime availability required on an as-needed basis. Starting pay is $29/hr. We also have first shift position open, 6 am - 2 pm.

Truck Driver responsibilities include:

• Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from local manufacturing plants. Average drive is about 20 miles round trip.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Truck Driver 2 years’ experience required with 53’ trailer or similar trailer
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• CDL Class A
